The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) of Cortes, together with BFP Cortes and PNP Cortes, is actively participating in the 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) at Cortes Academy.

The drill aims to instill and strengthen disaster preparedness and earthquake response capabilities among students, faculty, and community stakeholders. The joint involvement of local agencies ensures effective coordination, enhances the realism of emergency simulations, and promotes a culture of safety and resilience in the community.
